Our understanding of the genetics of mental health has been exploding in the last few decades. For the psychotherapist we feel a basic grasp of the fundamentals of genetics, and especially epigenetics, is vital for the working clinician. It is a very complex topic, but we give you the basics at an undergraduate level and in a way that we hope you will find applicable to your practice.
