About This Issue

In this issue we are delighted to be able to share autobiographical insights from Allan Schore’s address to the Annual Interpersonal Neurobiology Conference at UCLA. From the perspective of a true pioneer, Dr. Schore tells an unusual story of family, dedication, and sheer joy of learning that will inform and inspire. We also feature an article from Stephen Ducat highlighting the integration of his own two professional worlds of psychoanalytic therapy and naturopathic medicine. Complementing this is a column by Jonathan Prousky, a doctor of naturopathic medicine and editor of the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine, who presents a grounded view of complementary and alternative medicine for mental health.
